About The Artist: La Femme Fiji

Salaam, kese hai, and hello! My name is Chrystal, aka La Femme Fiji. I am the co-founder of Calon Studios Incorporated and future graduate from the University of Victoria as a Gender Studies Major and Business Minor. 

As well, I am a triple published makeup artist and triple certified makeup artist by DressYourFace Tamanna Roashan-- the world's top online South Asian bridal artistry educator. I have worked with beauty brands such as Chanel, Lancôme, Shiseido, Estee Lauder, Clinique and have over 10 years in the customer service field which has enhanced my communication skills, ensuring I deliver premium services to my clients.

I am an Indo-Fijian Muslim and Italian-Ukrainian artist, academic, and business owner whose personal ancestral journey inspired my obsession with makeup and its transformative abilities. My mission as an artist is to create a more inclusive vision of beauty - one that is rooted in equity and justice, rather than dishonesty and exploitation, and build a beauty brand which aims to decentralize Western standards of beauty. Our slogan "embracing beauty more than skin-deep" aims to encapsulate this goal.
